- Clissold House (right over the road from Fred’s old flat!)
- Christ Church Spitalfields
- Prince Albert
- One Great George Street
- The Antelope
Feel free to give Fred a ring on 07480 272 072 to chat through any ideas for your ceilidh.
Thank you both so much… you were BRILLIANT and really got the audience moving. I’ve just added it up and we raised £21k profit!
You were brilliant lads, so much fun and dancing, we all had a fantastic night and everyone keeps saying how brilliant you were!
Add a Traditional Flair to your Event
As well as ceilidh, we can provide ceremony & background music, from solo fiddle players to a full Irish band. This creates a magical atmosphere that will leave your guests buzzing. Having a wedding? A ceilidh unites all your guests and has everyone dancing with one another. Throwing a corporate function? What better icebreaker than fun, inclusive dancing with your local London ceilidh band!
We can perform music from Irish, Scottish and American traditions, or one of our solo musicians can play you down the aisle in style. Not bad for a London ceilidh band! Check out the packages page for more information, and choose the ceilidh that’s right for you.
What’s a Ceilidh?
The meaning of ceilidh is simple: delightful dancing to a live band. Our experienced callers walk you through all the moves. When the music starts, so do you!
Ceilidh dancing is as old as the hills, and each country has its own tradition. London is particularly important to Irish ceili, as it is the birthplace of the pub ‘session’. These informal gatherings of Irish musicians began in the 50’s and are still going strong today. Ceilidh dancing is perfect for weddings and parties, as it’s suitable for everyone and has all your guests dancing with each other.
