Band Member Agreement

This agreement sets out the expectations, responsibilities, and terms for performing with Bowreed at booked events.

1. General Responsibilities

• Arrive on time at the agreed location, ready to perform.
• Bring the agreed instrument(s), equipment, and accessories.
• Represent Bowreed professionally at all times during the event.

2. Fees & Payment

Performance fees will be agreed in advance. Payments are made by bank transfer, normally within 7 days of the event. Fees include travel and incidental expenses, unless otherwise specified.

3. Cancellations

If you are unable to perform due to illness or emergency, you must notify Fred immediately so that cover can be arranged. Fees are only paid for events attended, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Equipment & Setup

• If responsible for PA, ensure it is set up and soundchecked in good time.
• All equipment should be PAT tested and safe to use.
• Bowreed will not be liable for personal equipment damage or loss.

5. Conduct & Performance

Musicians are expected to follow the caller’s lead, respect client requests within reason, and maintain a high standard of musicianship and behaviour. No alcohol or substance misuse before or during a performance.

6. Agreement

By accepting a booking, you agree to the above terms and confirm your commitment to performing with Bowreed as arranged.
