Mark Scotland’s most famous night with a ceilidh that gets everyone on their feet.
A ceilidh’s about jumping in, letting loose, and laughing your way through the chaos. Our caller makes it easy, and the band keeps the energy high from start to finish.
A ceilidh is the natural way to round off a Burns Night, and Bowreed has brought that mix of tradition and fun to countless suppers over the years. Once the haggis is addressed and the toasts are done, our caller-led dancing gets everyone moving - no experience needed. We’ve been trusted by clients as varied as the Prince of Wales Hospice, the Ministry of Defence, and military barracks across the country, all looking for ceilidhs that keep the night authentic, inclusive, and full of energy.
We’ve been getting guests on their feet for over a decade. Whether you’re planning a wedding or a party, we tailor each ceilidh to suit the space, the crowd, and the occasion.
Seasoned players who know how to lift the room with every tune.
Professional sound setup, ensuring your event looks and sounds amazing.
We handle the logistics with your venue so everything runs seamlessly.
Think you’re ready to book a ceilidh band? You’re only a few steps away.

Here’s how a Bowreed ceilidh can fit neatly around the traditional order of a Burns Night supper, from piping in the haggis through to late-night dancing.
We’ve been proud to play for the Prince of Wales Hospice’s “Wee Glasgow Night with the Bard” almost every year since 2018, filling some of London’s grandest ballrooms with ceilidh dancing in support of a cause that matters. Nicole told us after the most recent event at the Peninsula Hotel that it raised over £24,000 for the hospice, and guests were already asking to book us again for next year - proof of how powerful a Bowreed ceilidh can be in bringing people together for tradition and good. Here's a short clip from the evening.
