Review Spotlight

Lost Village of Dode

Some venues bring instant atmosphere, and the Lost Village of Dode is one of them - a tiny medieval church tucked into the Kent countryside. Space was tight but the energy was huge, and our ceilidh fit the setting perfectly. The couple wanted something intimate yet lively, and the dances had the whole room laughing and linking arms from the very first tune.

The bride later told us: “We booked Bowreed for our wedding at the Lost Village of Dode and it was magical. The band set up in the cosy space with no fuss, and the calling, playing and dances were perfectly tailored to our guests. We had so many compliments afterwards - the ceilidh really made our wedding complete.”

Moments like this show how a ceilidh can turn even the smallest venue into the heart of a celebration.
